EBARA INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION COMPLETES PURCHASE OF HOOD MACHINE INCORPORATED (HMI)

Sparks Nevada, USA  2/1/2009

Ebara International Corporation (EIC) announces the purchase of Hood Machine Incorporated (HMI).  This sale is not an acquisition or a merger.  It is a change in ownership for which the existing company including the management team will remain intact while allowing the founder, Mr. Hood, to pursue other interests.

HMI has been a primary supplier to EIC and its Customers for over 20 years, providing superior machined components and ASME Code certified weldments.  Under the new ownership the name of the company will change to Hood-EIC, LLC.  The transaction was completed effective as of February 1 of 2009.
