Single
Phase Expanders are used where the expanded liquid will remain a liquid up to
or near the discharge of the final runner. In some cases, small amounts of
vapor may form at the discharge, which has no detrimental effect on the
expander. The turbine runners can be designed for a wide range of flow rates,
and can be supplied with one or more nozzle and runner stages to provide a wide
range of pressure reduction capabilities.
