Our headquarters and manufacturing plant is located in Sparks, NV USA (near Reno, NV). Cryodynamics uses state-of-the-art computer aided design technology and is staffed with qualified and experienced engineers and technicians to design, manufacture and factory test each pump and turbine. The factory is fully equipped with machine tools, precision dynamic balancing machines and complete inspection facilities to carry out production, assembly, testing, packaging and shipping of our products to world-wide locations. Our manufacturing area has three production bays, all with overhead bridge cranes. The main factory has over 5000m2 of space on campus of 24000 m2. Also on the campus is an 1100m2 motor manufacturing facility for the building of specialty cryogenic motors and generators used in pumps and turbine expanders. Cryodynamics offers full performance testing of all liquefied gas pumps and turbine expanders. Testing is performed at full flow and power with LNG, LPG or LN2, depending on the temperature and specific gravity of the expected service fluid. During testing, the pump or turbine expander performance is measured using calibrated instruments to ensure each unit meets or exceeds the specified requirements. Flow, suction and discharge pressure, suction and discharge temperature, input power, vibration, TEM function and NPSHR are just a few of the items that are regularly measured during our factory performance tests.
